Contest scripts and resources

At club level, contestants may be chosen by any method but, if the club declares a contest, they must then follow the Contest Rulebook.

Contests above club level, apart from the Online Speech Contest, are held in-person only. Despite the naming of the script files below, they have been revised for the 2025-2026 year.

Contest Documents change frequently and are best downloaded as current versions from the TI website.  You will find a complete list of documents for each contest, and links to the kits for each contest, in the Club Officers section of our site.

NOTE: Contest rulebooks reflect the situation at July 1st of their year. Any changes made during the year are summarised in the Speech Contests Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. This page forms part of the Contest Rulebook; rulings made here supercede those in the Rulebook. If in doubt, please check with our District Contest Consultant.
