Toastmasters New Zealand North Accessibility Statement
Updated: June 2022.
General
Toastmasters NZ strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.
We have invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that our website is accessible to all. This is required by the statements of Vision, Mission and Values of Toastmasters International.
Accessibility on d112tm.org.nz
Our target is to operate at WCAG 2.1 AA, complying with local legislation (when introduced) and S.508 of the American Disabilities Act.
Our website uses the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget that is powered by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows the site to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
Enabling the Accessibility Menu
The Userway accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears on the corner of each page. Please be patient; the menu may take a moment to load in its entirety.
Disclaimer
Toastmasters New Zealand North continues its efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of its site and services in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible and unhindered use also for those of us with disabilities.
In an ongoing effort to continually detect and correct accessibility issues, we regularly scan our pages to reduce any accessibility barriers on our site. Despite our efforts to make all pages and content on our website fully accessible, some content may not have yet been fully adapted to our target standard.
By continuing to use this site, you commit to helping us meet this standard.
